Curve Resident Creatives (CRC) is an ambitious talent development programme for artists who are based in, or have strong connections to, the Midlands. This 18-month residency offers the opportunity to be closely associated with Curve, gaining access, support, and the space to grow your artistic practice in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Our Resident Creatives receive tailored support including training, mentoring, networking opportunities, and one-to-one guidance. They are also encouraged to connect with the life of the building, contributing to Curve’s creative work, education initiatives, and outreach programmes.
This is more than a development scheme, it’s a chance to build a meaningful relationship with a producing theatre. Over the 18 months, our Resident Creatives have the time and support to develop and deliver a project in partnership with Curve, creating a foundation for future collaboration and growth.
The programme includes a mix of in-person sessions, practical workshops, theatre trips, and online meetings, particularly throughout the first year. While the structure is guided by the needs of the group, a clear framework is in place to ensure every artist receives consistent and valuable support.
