Shows and Performances

We produce and programme a huge variety of shows all year round for people of all ages, including children’s shows, plays, dance as well as large scale musicals and shows from the West End and our own Made At Curve performances. Our vibrant programme of shows are fantastic opportunities for students to experience live theatre and to support learning in English, Drama, PHSE and across the Curriculum.

Workshops, Career Talks and Tours

We can help your students develop their learning about a particular show, build specific creative skills, find out about careers in the industry or explore our building. Our experienced team of creative practitioners can deliver bespoke workshops, talks and tours for you.

Prices vary depending on the requirements and the group size, but a guideline is £250 for a half day and £350 for a full day. They can take place here at Curve or at your educational setting if you are local. Don’t let the cost be a barrier, we may be able to reduce the costs depending on budgets.

Theatre Days

These 2-hour learning sessions in our theatres offer you and your students a very special chance to learn first-hand how a show is created at Curve. Hear from cast and creatives about rehearsal techniques and performance skills and observe a technical demonstration showing how sound, lighting, set and costume create different effects. You’ll have chance to put your questions to the team during a Q&A too!

Join our Teachers’ Network

If you’re an educator with an interest in hearing about all the offers and learning opportunities here at Curve, you can join our Teachers’ Network. As part of this, you’ll be invited to optional meetings across the year to share experiences with fellow educators and you’ll also be able to take part in free Continuing Professional Development sessions.
